Don't Be a Bully!

How would you like it if someone made fun of the way you talk, dress, or look?

Always be kind—never mean or cruel—to others. Remember, no one wants to be friends with someone who is unkind to others. If you see a bully being mean to a classmate, there are safe things you can do to make bullying stop. Tell a teacher, counselor, or another adult you trust. Be sure to be kind to the person who is being picked on. Be her friend.

Parents/Educators

Make sure your child knows that bullying is unacceptable behavior. If you see or hear something that troubles you, talk to your child. If needed, get her help to deal with the cause of the behavior. Also, if your child is being picked on, let her know the safe things to do to stop the bullying.
