Selecting Your Book’s Title: Five Essential Considerations

Selecting a book title is important, and the selection process can be arduous and time-consuming (usually with a lot of second-guessing).  But it doesn’t have to be that way if you stay focused on five key considerations.

This introductory course will help you consider titles from five important perspectives. As you walk through each of the five, rate your title on a scale of 1 to 10 in each (or better yet have others rate your title).  If you score a 7 or higher in each category, you will be ahead of 90% of your peers.

Finally, although each of the five essential considerations for selecting a title are discussed sequentially in this course, in practice they need to be considered simultaneously as you seek to strike the right balance for a truly great and effective title.
